Manifestation and the Source

When I watched Wayne Dyer’s video “Power of Intention” it dawned on me that while I am trying different Manifestation techniques, maybe I forget about the most important thing, the Source of Everything.
Everybody who has read and learned about Manifestation, Law of Attraction and Wealth Attraction, usually reads or listens about different techniques like affirmations and visualizations.

We rarely hear or read about Intention. Wayne Dyer explains that Intention is the connection with the Source (you can call It God, Krishna, Buddha, the Source of Energy or any other names, depending on your religion, background or tradition) which is responsible for everything in our lives.

To really be able to manifest what we want it isn’t the most important what we do, but what we connect to. There’s the Source of Everything and we should connect with that Source to be able to manifest. When we connect to that Source there will be no fear or confusion, nor poverty or disease in our life. This is expressed in many scriptures, but my favorite quote comes from the Bhagavad-Gita: “A person in full consciousness of Me, knowing Me to be the ultimate beneficiary of all sacrifices and austerities, the Supreme Lord of all planets and demigods, and the benefactor and well-wisher of all living entities, attains peace from the pangs of material miseries” (Bhagavad-Gita 5.29). Isn’t that peace what we are looking for?

As we think about what we want to attract to our life and the techniques of manifestation we often forget about our connection to the Source, and as we learn from the Bhagavad-Gita, the connection to the Source is the most important thing to do, to achieve happiness, which is ultimately our goal and the reason why we want to manifest different things in life.

The good news is that we and everything else are the energy which comes from the Source. We cannot be really separated from the Source of Energy. We have simply forgotten about our connection to the Source, which is the reason for our struggles and suffering. We need to renew our connection with our Source to start living life which we deserve to live, life of bliss, love and abundance.

How can we do it? There are many different ways. In my opinion meditation is the best, but this is the subject for another article.

Manifestation and the Importance of Living in the NOW

Do you sometimes observe your mind? In the ancient Vedic scripture Bhagavad-Gita, Krishna says to Arjuna “One must deliver himself with the help of his mind, and not degrade himself. The mind is the friend of the conditioned soul, and his enemy as well. For him who has conquered the mind, the mind is the best of friends; but for one who has failed to do so, his mind will remain the greatest enemy.”

When you start observing your mind first thing you might notice is that you don’t control it. How many times you have read something, sometimes even trying to really concentrate on the subject, but then you caught yourself thinking about something completely different at the same time?

You can observe your mind, because you are not your mind, as you are not your body.

To manifest what you want you need to control your mind. You need to concentrate, meditate and visualize often. You need to focus on the things you want to manifest. If you allow your mind to jump freely from one subject to another, like a monkey from tree to tree, it will take you long time to achieve your goals.

One aspect of this is importance of living in the NOW. You can notice that we often think about the past, and when we think about the past we tend to think about “old good times”. There are not “old good times”. We simply forget about bad times and think about good times mostly, because it allows us to escape from the present reality and live in happy illusion.

The point is that the past, happy or sad is dead. We can’t change it. It also doesn’t have any value for our manifesting purposes. Of course we can hopefully learn from our past mistakes, but that’s it, otherwise dwelling on the past is just a waste of time.

If we don’t think about the past we usually think about the future. Often we are afraid of the future, sometimes we look at the future with hope. But the future is made in the present. We need to start living in the present and concentrate on the present. We need to be happy now.
If we are happy now, we build our happy future. Because of that it is very important to gradually control the mind and to live in the now; try to be happy now.

We can easily change our mind’s states. We can listen to some good music which we like, we can think about someone we love or we can look at something beautiful. Whatever helps you to feel happy, and the most important we can visualize the things we want in the future as already achieved.

A good way to get in the good mood is to do some simple yogic breathing exercises, which very quickly help to achieve peace and control of the mind.

Another good way is to practice gratitude for the things you have and the things you would like to have. You cannot feel unhappy when you feel grateful.

There are many different methods, but to start manifesting the things you want easily and quickly it’s good to find a good mentor or course, and follow the instructions. Reading about manifestation, the law of attraction and self improvement is always good, but the best is to take action and apply what you have learned.

Who's the Boss?

10 ways to start taking control (time management, goal setting, record tracking)

At first glance, it would seem that positive thinking and Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) have nothing to do with one another. But many of us with ADD develop negative thinking patterns because we become frustrated by our challenges and frequent feelings of being overwhelmed. This negative outlook then makes it even harder for us to manage those challenges and move forward.

Practicing positive thinking allows people with ADD to focus on our strengths and accomplishments, which increases happiness and motivation. This, in turn, allows us to spend more time making progress, and less time feeling down and stuck. The following tips provide practical suggestions that you can use to help you shift into more positive thinking patterns:

1. Take Good Care of Yourself
It's much easier to be positive when you are eating well, exercising, and getting enough rest.

2. Remind Yourself of the Things You Are Grateful For
Stresses and challenges don't seem quite as bad when you are constantly reminding yourself of the things that are right in life. Taking just 60 seconds a day to stop and appreciate the good things will make a huge difference.

3. Look for the Proof Instead of Making Assumptions
A fear of not being liked or accepted sometimes leads us to assume that we know what others are thinking, but our fears are usually not reality. If you have a fear that a friend or family member's bad mood is due to something you did, or that your co-workers are secretly gossiping about you when you turn your back, speak up and ask them. Don't waste time worrying that you did something wrong unless you have proof that there is something to worry about.

4. Refrain from Using Absolutes
Have you ever told a partner "You're ALWAYS late!" or complained to a friend "You NEVER call me!"? Thinking and speaking in absolutes like 'always' and 'never' makes the situation seem worse than it is, and programs your brain into believing that certain people are incapable of delivering.

5. Detach From Negative Thoughts
Your thoughts can't hold any power over you if you don't judge them. If you notice yourself having a negative thought, detach from it, witness it, and don't follow it.

6. Squash the "ANTs"
In his book "Change Your Brain, Change Your Life," Dr. Daniel Amen talks about "ANTs" - Automatic Negative Thoughts. These are the bad thoughts that are usually reactionary, like "Those people are laughing, they must be talking about me," or "The boss wants to see me? It must be bad!" When you notice these thoughts, realize that they are nothing more than ANTs and squash them!

7. Practice Lovin', Touchin' & Squeezin' (Your Friends and Family)
You don't have to be an expert to know the benefits of a good hug. Positive physical contact with friends, loved ones, and even pets, is an instant pick-me-up. One research study on this subject had a waitress touch some of her customers on the arm as she handed them their checks. She received higher tips from these customers than from the ones she didn't touch!

8. Increase Your Social Activity
By increasing social activity, you decrease loneliness. Surround yourself with healthy, happy people, and their positive energy will affect you in a positive way!

9. Volunteer for an Organization, or Help another Person
Everyone feels good after helping. You can volunteer your time, your money, or your resources. The more positive energy you put out into the world, the more you will receive in return.

10. Use Pattern Interrupts to Combat Rumination
If you find yourself ruminating, a great way to stop it is to interrupt the pattern and force yourself to do something completely different. Rumination is like hyper-focus on something negative. It's never productive, because it's not rational or solution-oriented, it's just excessive worry. Try changing your physical environment - go for a walk or sit outside. You could also call a friend, pick up a book, or turn on some music.

When it comes to the corporate world, protocol is pretty much the religion. To know the things needed to do are the basics of productivity, but interaction and having a steady mind makes up the entire thing to true productivity. There are those who seem to work well even under pressure, but they're uncommon ones and we are human and imperfect. To get these little things like stress under our skins won't solve our problems. Sometimes it takes a bit of courage to admit that we're turning to be workaholics than tell ourselves that we're not doing our best.

What Really Makes You Tick?

10 questions you should ask yourself: a preparation to self-improvement

Be all you can be, but it's not always in the Army. I often see myself as somewhat contented with my life the way things are, but of course it's hard to think of anything else when where are real issues to be discussed.

Still I aspire for something deeper and more meaningful.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Over 247 Techniques For Achieving Your Goals
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So we're all pelted with problems. Honestly it shouldn't even bother or even hinder us to becoming all we ought to be. Aspirations as kids should continue to live within us, even though it would be short-lived or as long as we could hold on to the dream. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks… or can they?

1. What do I really want?
The question of the ages. So many things you want to do with your life and so little time to even go about during the day.

Find something that you are good at can help realize that small step towards improvement. Diligence is the key to know that it is worth it.

2. Should I really change?
Today's generation has taken another level of redefining 'self', or at least that's what the kids are saying. Having an army of teenage nieces and nephews has taught me that there are far worse things that they could have had than acne or maybe even promiscuity. So how does that fit into your lifestyle?

If history has taught us one thing, it's the life that we have gone through. Try to see if partying Seventies style wouldn't appeal to the younger generation, but dancing is part of partying. Watch them applaud after showing them how to really dance than break their bones in break-dancing.

3. What's the bright side in all of this?
With so much is happening around us there seem to be no room for even considering that light at the end of the tunnel. We can still see it as something positive without undergoing so much scrutiny. And if it's a train at the end of the tunnel, take it for a ride and see what makes the world go round!

4. Am I comfortable with what I'm doing?
There's always the easy way and the right way when it comes to deciding what goes with which shoes, or purse, shirt and whatnot. It doesn't take a genius to see yourself as someone unique, or else we'll all be equally the same in everything we do. Variety brings in very interesting and exciting questions to be experimented.

5. Have I done enough for myself?
Have you, or is there something more you want to do? Discontentment in every aspect can be dangerous in large doses, but in small amounts you'll be able to see and do stuff you could never imagine doing.

6. Am I happy at where I am today?
It's an unfair question so let it be an answer! You love being a good and loving mom or dad to your kids, then take it up a notch! Your kids will love you forever. The same goes with everyday life!

7. Am I appealing to the opposite sex?
So maybe I don't have an answer to that, but that doesn't mean I can't try it, though. Whether you shape-up, change the way you wear your clothes or hair, or even your attitude towards people, you should always remember it will always be for your own benefit.

8. How much could I have?
I suppose in this case there is no such things on having things too much or too little, but it's more on how badly you really need it. I'd like to have lots of money, no denying that, but the question is that how much are you willing to work for it?

9. What motivates me?
What motivates you? It's an answer you have to find out for yourself. There are so many things that can make everyone happy, but to choose one of the may be the hardest part. It's not like you can't have one serving of your favorite food in a buffet and that's it. Just try it piece by piece.

10. What Really Makes You Tick?
So? What really makes you tick? You can be just about anything you always wanted to be, but to realize that attaining something that may seem very difficult is already giving up before you even start that journey. Always remember, that self-improvement is not just about the physical or philosophical change you have to undergo, but it's something that you really want.

How to Discover - and Achieve -- Your Life Purpose

By Jeff Staniforth

Does it seem like your life consists of just "going with the
tide" - and that you have no particular destination? Do you
sometimes look at your life and ask, "Is this all there is?"

Does the pursuit of material things sometimes seem meaningless to
you? Do you often feel as though life is passing you by?

Is your time consumed by things that need to be done, rather than
things that are important to you? Do people put demands and
responsibilities on you that are opposed to what you want for
your life?

Have you been trying to live up to everyone else's expectations
while your own plans and dreams go unfulfilled?

If you answered "Yes" to any or all of the above questions,
you're not alone. It's so easy for any of us to get "caught up"
in life that we forget how to truly live. There's more wisdom
than meets the eye in John Lennon's famous saying: "Life is what
happens when you're busy making other plans.

Frankly, life is too short for us to waste most of it on the
acquisition of material things, in trying to impress people we
care little about, and on things that will have little or no
value to us when we look back on our lives during our golden
years.

In keeping with the theme of this newsletter, I'm here to show
you how to discover - and accomplish - your life's purpose
through the use of affirmations. Your life's purpose may be
defined as your personal mission, or your spiritual path, or the
cause for which you live, or how you plan to make a difference,
or what you want to leave behind after you're gone - or anything
that's truly important to you.

Here are affirmations that will help you not only discover your
life purpose, but also help get you deeply connected to your
spiritual self:

* Each day my life is filled with wonders and magic.
* I feel my divine connection to everyone and everything.
* The light of God is guiding me in everything I do.
* Every step I take leads me toward my Life Purpose.
* I now surrender to the will of God
* Divine guidance is with me always
* I now let miracles happen
* Divine wisdom unfolds within me now.
* I am now filled with the light and love of God.
* Everything I seek is seeking me now.
* I now call on the light of God to guide me.
* I am totally one with God.
* I choose to experience things that will reveal my true Life
Purpose.
* I am now acting upon my Life Purpose with joy and passion.
* I now accept that my Life Purpose is to love myself others.
* I am now free to do the things I love.
* I choose to do the things I love.
* I am fulfilled as a person.
* I am now clear on my goals and I have the strength to follow
through on them.
* I am in a constant state of fulfillment.
* I am certain that my path is always perfect for me.

Choose the affirmations that feel appropriate to you. Feel free
to create an affirmation that's suitable to you by asking
yourself these questions:

What do you want? And how will you know when you get it?

Those questions will put you on the right track to crafting life
purpose affirmations that strike an emotional chord in you, or at
least enable you to substitute words in any of the above
affirmations with words that have special meaning to you.

TIP: Did you know... that if you use subliminal technology with
your affirmations, you could multiply the power of your
affirmations exponentially? The good news is that it's not as
complicated as it sounds -- if you can turn on your computer, you
can use the Subliminal Message module of the critically acclaimed
Sculptor 3 affirmation program. The Sculptor 3 program flashes
subliminal messages to your subconscious at a rate of more than
3,600 times per hour -even as you go about your normal work on
your computer. You get to choose the subliminal messages, based
on what you want to achieve. And it's so easy to use that if you
can type an e-mail, you can use Sculptor 3.

I dare you to name the top 3 things *you* want in life and use
Sculptor 3 just 10 minutes a day to make them happen for you. Go
ahead and type the 3 things you want in the magic box provided at
Affirmware and see what happens.

P.S. There's a lady by the name of Jaki who typed in the 3 things
she wanted in the box. By the end of the day, she e-mailed me and
said one of her wishes began to manifest in her life. She then
immediately bought Sculptor 3 because she figured if her intent
caused her desires to begin materializing, Sculptor 3 would most
certainly multiply her results. She's right!

The Secret

How to attain connection with the higher force to shape your life the way you want it and get everything you may desire. Based on the Law of Attraction.

Wednesday 2 May 2007

You want this -- I guarantee

'Don't Worry, Be Happy.'

This simple message surely made me
smile whenever I have problems.

Happiness is the ultimate motivator
of whatever you are trying to achieve.

Be it getting a new car or having
a profitable business, the ultimate
outcome that you're trying to achieve
is to be happy.

Happiness affects your health because
being happy actually protects you
from the stresses of life.

One of the better things ever said is –
'The only thing in life that will always
remain the same is change', and in our
life we have the power to make the
necessary changes if we want to.

You can't be happy by buying "toys"
or being alone.

Try having the most beautiful house
in the world -- alone. You see, happiness
is felt when you can share with others.

Having relationships whether it's
friendship or love is the key to
happiness. People are different, accept
people for who or what they are,
avoid clashes, constant arguments,
and let go of all kinds of resentments.

End of the day, the importance
is being happy, not to 'win'. Got it?

Good news is, to be happy is easy!
Just decide to be a happy person!

The choice is simple really, choose to
be happy because you’re the master
of your circumstances.

Like...

Being grateful is an excellent way to
feel happy all the time. We have so
much to be thankful for. If you
really can't find anything to be
thankful for (Which is impossible),
the least you can is to thank God for
being alive.

When we discover a small start
somewhere from within, that small
start will eventually lead to something
else, and to something else. But if
you keep questioning life lit it has
never done you any good, you will
never be able to find genuine happiness.

Watch more news on Tv or read
them in newspaper can be stressful.

Get less of it. Now, I can agree that
some people just can't start their day
without their daily dose of news. Try
and think about it, most of the news we
hear or read is bad news. Starting the
day with bad news does not seem
to be a sensible thing to do.

Well, you decide.

Next…

Laugh and laugh heartily everyday.

Express your feelings, affections,
friendship and passion to people
around you. They will most likely
reciprocate your actions.

Working hard can be stressful, right?

Not really if you know how to
channel it into a positive energy
and brings tremendous personal
satisfaction of completion. It can
gives joy of being competent and
on top of your 'game'.

And accomplishments are necessary
to give us a sense of value.

Ask yourself these questions:

1. What do I really want?

The question of all time. So many
things you want to do with your life
and so little time to even go about
during the day.

The secret? Stay focus.

2. Should I really change to be happy?

If history has taught us one thing,
it's the life that we have gone through.

Seek your experience to guide you
today that it's worth to change for
happiness.

3. Am I happy at where I am today?

I can't tell you because it's your life.
If not, change.

4. How much could I have?

I suppose in this case there is no such
things on having things too much or too
little, but it's more on how badly you
really need it. I'd like to have lots of
money, no denying that, but the question
is that how much are you willing
to work for it?

5. What motivates me to be happy?

It's an answer you have to find out for
yourself. There are so many things that can
make everyone happy but it could not
last. Find your motivation internally,
not external.

These are the few simple things you
can do everyday to be happy.
